Call Me Ishtar....

Been watching some more documentaries on ancient civilizations and have become a wee bit obsessed with Ishtar... Whats not to love about a crazy, sexy, warrior goddess who keeps lions for pets and constantly threatens to tear open the gates of hell and unleash the dead upon the world if she doesn't get her way...

Sing it!

More iPad fun!

Downton Ladies!

Did I mention I love costume dramas?

Distress!

A quickie Sketchboopro doodle at 8:30AM after an all-nighter while waiting on my FTP....

She looks distressed..I wonder who's jacket that is...

New stylus!!!

My new AYL stylus arrived in the mail today and it is AMAZING!! Alas I have a ton of deadlines this weekend, so I can't play with it too much, but I did take a few minutes to doodle with it. I like the way it draws better then the bamboo, it's so smooth! The only thing I don't like is that it's thinner and shorter then the bamboo so it feels a bit weird in the hand...

But here's a lil doodle I did to take it for a test drive...Matthew and I have been a bit obsessed with native African cultures lately....

I HAS IPAD!

The hubby got me an iPad for Xmas! Now I can doodle on the sofa like the lazy lump I am! I did these in sketchbook pro with my dad's bamboo stylus. Anyone have any suggestions for other drawing apps I should check out? Is there a nifty stylus I should get? I can't wait to get sketching!

Tally Ho!

Good lord it's been a long time since I drew anything for myself..I'm afraid I'm rusting! Heres some Comic-related doodles....I think I might have found a design for Tansy's gryff pal that I like..I also think I'm gonna name her Diana..and in that spirit, here Tansy and Diana take part in some "field research" though Diana might live up to her name sake more then Tansy might like...

Also I don't think Grimpus knows what to make of Di...
